A Reading of Humble Frog & His 127 Music Loving Friends – Read by Dr. Betsy Grimley
WHEN AND WHERE: Friday, October 4th from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Children’s Museum Missoula (225 West Front Street). WHAT: Oliver Grimley, a highly acclaimed artist and educator, passed away at the age of 92 in January of this year. Grimley’s daughters, Dr. Betsy Grimley and her sister Olivia Grimley, discovered their father’s unpublished story and illustrations, that he had written over 50 years ago. The book was recently published. Dr Grimley will be making this public reading for the first time in honor of their father. Humble Frog & His 127 Music Loving Friends is a children’s book about a frog with a beautiful voice. On a more profound level, the underlying story is about the pitfalls of pride and the lasting value of friendship, and will delight children, parents and grandparents alike. The Children’s Museum Missoula invites families to join Dr. Grimley at this special reading event. In addition to the reading, children will be able to experiment with interactive versions of the book. ADMISSION: Free.
