Missoula Urban Demonstration Project – Earth Day Activities (April 21)

FREE – Youth Activities for Earth Day!

WHEN & WHERE:  Sunday, April 21 from 12 noon to 5 p.m. at Caras Park (downtown Missoula).  WHAT:  Spread the word! MUD is hosting it’s seventh annual Earth Day celebration this Sunday from 12:00-5:00 PM in Caras Park. This year we have more youth activities than ever and are all set to have a great time! Show up right at noon to dance to some music by the Whizpops, and check out the animal ambassadors from Animal Wonders! We’re also featuring a puppet theater presenting The Lorax, Strega Nona’s Harvest, and a MUD original play, Edgar McDean’s Dream. Activity booths include flower pot painting, recycled music, and carpentry 101!

Here’s a schedule of events:

  • 12:00-1:30– Music by the Whizpops
  • 12:00-3:00– Presentations by Animal Wonders
  • 12:00-4:00– Puppet Theater presentations
  • 12:00-5:00- Passport to Sustainability table, Flower pot painting (with Transition Missoula), Recycled Rhythms and Carpentry 101 (with Home Resource)
